While the Rhysling covers short and long poetry, the Dwarf Star is for micropoems such as scifaiku. When a poet is nominated, the poem is included in the annual Dwarf Star Anthology. This year, the Science Fiction &amp; Fantasy Poetry Associated is featuring a reading of all the nominated poems in the anthology by the poets that wrote them. This is to help the membership hear the selections before voting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am to read my nominated poem in the last set of readings. I hope you&#8217;ll consider joining us. Maybe so, but this method of rapid ideation promotes high levels of creativity and helps keep the poet&#8217;s inner editor out of the creative process. Expect to create at least six new seeds of poetry that you can grow into a full poem by the end of the workshop. At the end, you may read your poem to the class.
