Wendy Van Camp is Poet Laureate Emerita for Anaheim, California. She is a speculative poet, author, editor, artist, and podcaster. Her poetry is influenced by cutting edge technology, astronomy, and daydreams. She is a nominated finalist for the Elgin Award, a Pushcart Prize, and for a Dwarf Stars Award. Her poems, stories, and articles have appeared in many journals around the world, including: “Star*Line”, “Scifaikuest”, “Worlds of IF”, and she is a contracted writer for “Indy Author Magazine”. Wendy is a member of SFWA, Codex, SFPA, and IBPA. Find her books on all major online retailers.
She is a semi-regular panelist on Con-Tinual, a panel discussion podcast about all things science fiction in fandom or about being a modern day author or poet. She is a new radio host of “Poets Cafe” broadcast at KPFK 90.7 FM – Los Angeles produced by Marlene Bond, where she interviews poets laureate, editors of poetry, and poets of note.
